  • Have a sufficiently concrete project to be ready to start a business in the short term.
  • Be free from any bankruptcy judgment, not be involved in any lawsuits or other legal disputes.
  • Contribute financially, that is, make an investment that is deemed to be sufficient.
  • For the entire time during which financial assistance is received, commit yourself full-time to the business start-up.
  • Agree to be monitored by SAJE during the development and implementation of the project.
  • Receive no income replacement from the CSST or the SAAQ.
  • Demonstrate, when working with partners who are not eligible for the self-employment support measure, that you are in control of the business and that you own at least 51% of the business assets.

If your project is not eligible, but you still wish to pursue it, or you need to write a business plan, look into our Starting a Business training session.

If you are evaluating more than one idea and need help developing a business project, consider the Intro to start your business project workshop.

If your business plan is not eligible, but you still want to achieve it or if you do not have a business plan, find out about Starting a Business training.

If you hesitate between several ideas and want help to clarify your business idea, the Intro to start your business project workshop might interest you.
